I play for team instinct, which means we have more knowledge about the spoofers who mostly sabotage for our own team.
Team mystic in Gothenburg doesn't have much of an organisation and for that reason we know very little about their internal problems.
Team valor explicitly takes the stance that if a suspected spoofer shows up live at least once then that person is no longer a verified spoofer, at least not if it's a valor player.

I'll be using the definitions in this post with the following changes of terms to conform better with the terminology used on-line:
- Thief -> Sniper
- Sniper -> Shaver
- Agressor, no change
- Builder, no change
- Multiacc, no change
- Saboteur, new: Uses extra account in 'your' team to assign extremely poor defenders, like CP 120 pidgeys and the like, to a gym with free spots. This makes it easier to attack the gym.
Method for verification:
- The gym doesn't stand close to a building
- There is nowhere to hide from where you can reasonably reach the gym
- Spoofing was seen live, as in you were physically standing on the gym and actively searched for and failed to find the offending player
- Exceptions to the not close to a building rule further down
Classifications, and requirements:
- Sniper - No roads or other ways to assign pokemon without being seen
- OR
- Follows you from gym to gym during a raid and assigns defenders without being seen, this may include gyms close to buildings
- Shaver - adding prestige and assigning a defender should be done 'immediately' after the gym drops a level
- 'Just a few minutes' isn't 'immediately'
- Aggressor - assigning pokemon to the gym has to be done immediately after making the gym neutral
- 'Just a few minutes' isn't 'immediately'
- Builder - adding prestige to the gym has to be done immediately after the offending player has stopped assigning pokemon to the gym
- OR
- the offending player keeps alternating between adding prestige and assigning pokemon to the gym
- Multiacc - the offending player should use the accounts, one after another, in a short timeframe
- Same rules as for sniper
